RAMH choose People Inc.

Renfrewshire Association for Mental Health (RAMH), an independent organisation which aims to enable people to recover from mental ill health and to promote wellbeing, has chosen People Inc by P&A Group as their replacement HR software.

May 2008 marked their 30th anniversary and they have been providing a platform for discussion and delivering a range of services across Renfrewshire & East Renfrewshire in that time.

After a lengthy selection process, the People Inc HR software application was selected by RAMH to reflect their need to accommodate all of the functionality they had enjoyed with their previous system, plus provide them with much needed additional capabilities. Due to recurring compatibility problems with the incumbent system, the chosen application also had to be wholly compatible with new and emerging Microsoft technologies, such as SQL Server 2008 and Office 2010.

As with all People Inc projects, we were able to make the product transition very straight forward by migrating all of the existing employee data and transfer previously developed screens and bespoke application changes into the new product environment automatically. This has meant that the standard migration project will be delivered very quickly.

Some of the functional requirements were very specific to the way in which RAMH operate, so it was essential to match these needs to a system that was best placed to not only offer them a high degree of standard functionality, but also provide a configurable platform that was able to accommodate their bespoke and changing requirements over time.

People Inc includes all required HR functionality accessible from within the one database application, covering self-service, core HR, absence & holiday management, training administration, recruitment and performance management.
