Haynes choose People Inc.

Haynes Publishing are to adopt the People Inc. HR software application to replace their existing Vizual Personnel Manager system.

Since Haynes Publishing was founded in 1960, more than 150 million Haynes Manuals have sold throughout the world, more than half a million in the UK last year alone. There are around 300 UK car manuals in print at present with 130 plus UK motorcycle manual titles - not to mention equivalent ranges in the USA, France and Sweden.

Haynes required a technical upgrade to their existing system that would be quickly and reliably implemented at a minimal cost and with minimal downtime. This was easily achieved with the automated upgrade tools available to quickly convert all data, screen design and attached documents from Personnel Manager to People Inc. Due to their geographic location and to keep expense costs to a minimum the entirety of the project implementation, including user training was performed remotely using the GoToMeeting remote desktop and meeting software. This helped us deliver a fully implemented replacement solution, with full data transfer and provisional training in 2 working days.

People Inc. includes all required HR functionality accessible from within the one database application, covering self-service, core HR, absence & holiday management, training administration, recruitment and performance management.
